Mista B Gets His Own Boat!

YAP, thats my boat!
This weekend we made a Hale Mary road trip up to Katzs Marina to see the new black Cobra, STAY TUNED! In the water running shots!!!!!!, We also were there to pick up a new boat for Mista B. Which is perfect for him. A 1930 Model 99 that ..well, took the hit from the roof that caved in a while back at Katzs marina at the Cove.

Alan and Mr Band Proto, the prototype Cobra. Mist B gets around

The damage. Merely a flesh wound!
Now some may consider this spoiling him. YES! It’s perfect. Has a special area in the back for him as a bed. And will be used in the shop as such with some steps. And once repaired..teaching myself woodworking skills. He can ride back there.. Ya I know. But it’s a concept.

Keep coming, yup, yap.. Straight Back..

mmmmm, checking her over

That gas cap is cool!
The 99 is both Blue and Brown. Perfect, small, simple and great looking. She looks fantastic in the workshop as well, fulfilling the dream. Art when static, boat when floating.

He loves his new spot!, Wouldnt leave

Gonna get some wood steps off a cruiser for him

Her home for a while

A quick lettering. Since it will be there for a while..

Mista B, in B, with a B engine. It’s a B-eautiful thing!
A huge thanks to Seth and the entire Katzs gang for always making our sport entertaining. STAY tuned, In the water rumbling of the Black Katzs Cobra.. Here is a little taste

Way to make your birthday post about Mister B!
Did we all miss the hint from Berlin Buro’s comment? Is today Matts BIRTHDAY? If so, then Happy Birthday.. Now you just have to remember how old you are! 🙂
Damnit! What’s the length of B?
16 feet
In my next life I hope I come back as one of Your dogs . . What a ride . . Except for that trip to the Vet . .
I think Mr. B wants to splash her and use her. Make up a story about the damage being from Mr. B coming into the dock a little too hot. Nice boat!
Hey, “Bruiser” would be living up to his name with that story!
A boat for the Dog. Is that how you justified it to Suzy? I will have to remember that.
Hey Matt, I have a Model 99 that was second place Gold finish at the 2018 Boat the Blue in Port Huron. It was finished by Mark Edmonson at Diamond Boat Works if you have specific questions on that very rare piece of art. Mark have 6 Award winners in that show.
‘B” has good taste.
You drove all that way with a single axle trailer–you are a gambler.
You are very lucky Mr. B didn’t come home with us. Denise was in love.
One of my favorite models…good score!
And the Woody Boater tradition continues… The number of boats owned is directly proportional to the square footage available in the shop. 🙂 Great addiction to your fleet! 😉 It will be fun seeing the restoration progress when it begins, and that will be a great calm evening cruiser when you are done.
Are you sure it’s Mr B’s boat?I didn’t see his mark!I could do more damage than that.Ole
Happy Birthday Matt!
Cool boat!!
Wow, nice early split cockpit. I can get down and bark like a dog if it will get me a boat. Happy birthday, better late than never.
