Mister Rogers Last Gasp!
OK, it’s not Mr Rogers, he had his last gasp a couple years ago..2003 to be more specific… OUCH, sorry Mrs Rogers.. but it is a beautiful day in the neighborhood..And fellow Woody Boater Loren Sattler takes us all on a tour of his neighborhood.. in Hessel Michigan in his 1970 26′ Lyman Sleeper.. I want to be his neighbor… It’s 10 minutes of escape-ism…. Gets very interesting with angles at the end.. LOVE those go-pro cameras. Anyway, thought this might be a nice way to start a Wed morning with a fantastic boat ride with a fun guy.. Love it.. Put on your sweater when you watch this.. Then we will talk bulldozers, and visit the bakery.. And maybe the mail man will come by..
Looks really good on a wide screen, kind of wierd seeing a bot on auto-pilot though.
Good morning Loren!
Thanks for the tour. I suspect we will want to view this several times through the winter.
Thanks for the Lyman fix. I can go on for a bit now.
Thanks Loren! Awesome point-of-view.
Let’s see the Gar Wood next.
I enjoyed the 10 minutes of escape-ism…
Thanks for the morning ride.
Just another day in paradise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aka Les Cheneaux!!
I thought when I saw it, 10 minutes, dear god.. But dang, I watched the entire thing.. twice.. Good stuff. We will replay this when its 10 degrees outside to remind us all of our passion..
10 minutes? This will have to wait until layer tonight.
I agree with Chad, lets see the Gar Wood – I know there’s a video out there of it too….
Loren – the autopilot function isn’t wierd at all – we’d love to hear from you again!
Gar Wood Gar Wood Gar Wood..
By the way, last weekend (Oct. 22) Logan Wood, Gar Wood’s Great Nephew, married Renee Wood.
Congratulations to Logan & Renee!
Thanks, Loren great video. I’ll be updating the christmas list to include a go-pro video camera.
What’s this Gar Wood everyone is talking about?
Thanks for the Great ride.
great job Loren, Nice to northern michigan in it prime for the fall. Matt, This is where it’s at Wooden Boating Heaven
Wow, that was quite the trip from the dock to open water! I just have to back up about 18 feet, spin in place and I am in deep water, ready to go.
The ride sure looks nice and smooth in that big lyman, one thing the old ski boats will not give you.
