Monday Clean Up After The Big Woods And Water Week

, , ,

Morning Sunshine! Steve Lapkin Image.

Well, there we go. You go, it goes. I am sure there is some sort of serious anxiety hangover going on up in Minnesota, and folks around the planet are actually looking forward to my latest screwdriver pick. YA, sorry about that. I know, I know, but ya sometimes have to use what ya got. The good news is I have more lips and snouts from the Woods and Waterboard flow of images.

Babe… No really, look! Also note the Chris Craft on the side of the boat.

I will miss the morning emails/text messages of gigabytes of images.  I do need a tow in pic to end this madness, and apparently no one broke down? WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAT? NO WAY! WARNING, things are gonna get a tad silly today.

Don’t you walk away from me, I am talking. Bert, Bert….. Bert, do you see this boat. BEEEERT!

PONTOON blocking paradise

John Allen.. And I? Is that Sammy Hagar? No?

Hornet’s nest.

What is it about this area. NO ONE LOOKS AT THE BOATS!

Okay… Thats better

A dock shot. No really it’s a shot of a dock

Teaser out teasing

Drive by shooting

outtake

We are just gonna sit here and listen to the barber shop quartet. What? No quartet? What? she said, NO QUARTET. WHAT? BERT!

Is that guy with the red and green socks getting on or off. Wait, I mean on or off the BOAT

Not sure whats going on here, but dammmm look at that finish…and sticker

Sweet

Dear, do you see that wall of grass? Yes dear.

Chris, did you hear? Betty is pissed at Bert for not paying attention. Then Bert just kinda flipped out at Bertha, and bought that boat anyway. Bertha is not happy, All she could say was But, But! And so the boat was officially name BIG BUT BERTHA! HIT IT.

Is there a doc on board?

Two Babe sandwiches.

OWEN!

EVINRUDE shirt, Johnson Engine?

Century. Just a photo of folks out putting about.

WAITING TO BE NAMED?

OKAY OKAY. LOVE the Pom Poms. But, they should be black and yellow! So close

SEE!

I am not sure whats happening here with these two Barrel Backs. But in 9 months, there may be some sort of new barrel on the lake.

Now this is a dock shot. Great boat and some babe action to spice it up.

A joyous name! LOVE IT! Perfect

I HAVE LUSTED AFTER THIS BOAT FOR YEARS!

Slick Craft fighting for attention

And thats a wrap!

    What an incredible week.
Home, sunburned, exhausted, overwhelmed by what we saw and what we did, so many great laughs. In the “its over post-show blues” now.
    Oh…..and back to work. Bummer.

Nine years ago we decided to jump into the classic boat world after decades of plastic boating (ok – we still have a plastic boat 😊). After spending the last 5 days at the Woods and Waters 2 show the sights, sounds, friendships and hospitality were a once in a lifetime experience. Many thanks to everyone involved!

We struggled with the Pom Pom colors for Cheerleader but went with the school colors depicted in our scrap book alongside the boat. The Cheerleader was named by my dad, for my mom, who was a cheerleader in 1950. Thanks for the view of the yellow and black option Matt!

What an unforgettable event. I don’t think anyone can top that, those folks are so kind in Minnesota. Thanks for all the photo memories Matt.
Drove straight home 15 hrs, what were we thinking. Got a text from Betty, she is still pissed at Bert.

We members of the Bob Speltz Land-O-Lakes Chapter of ACBS are over the moon happy the Minnesota weather gods smiled so favorably on us all (after one Lake Minnetonka shower 9/6) for the duration of Woods & Water II !
