Jim’s Grand Mother. Wow!
Today around Woody Boater HQ is a huge day. I am sure it’s the same in your HQ. Over the years fellow Woody Boaters have shared their old photos, so today we thought it would be fun to see more. So here is to Mom, Mother, GrandMother, Mothers to be, and Momma’s all over Woodyboaterville.

From Chris Holmes – This is my grandparents John and Marylss Schaefer of Gull Lake in Nisswa, MN. Not sure of a year or what model Chris-Craft this actually is. Feel free to post on your Oldies section. Any help on the year and model would be great. – Thanks, Chris
rom fellow Woody Boater Dane Anderson in Minnesota – My Mom in the middle with her sister and niece visiting the Johnson’s (a private residence on Big Whitefish Bay) on Whitefish Lake, MN early 40s. Note the mail box on the dock, the Whitefish Chain of Lakes had mail service from the late 1930’s.
This is one of my all time faves.
From Ken Furrer – Taken around 1960 Mom Dad and ME!
Do you have a favorite? You know what to do.
Here is me, my brother, father, and most importantly, my mother. BTW, I just got this boat back after 30 years of being out of the family. It is a 1958 century coronado that was special ordered without the white on the sides.
Hope you keep the white off the sides and post more pics.

Here are my Mom and Dad in the mid-1990’s still cruisin after buying their first boat in 1949. This was in “The Keeper” a 1973 Slickcraft 23 hardtop.
These pictures are of my mom, Anne Parsons, during the mid sixties when we would take our 1951 Chris Craft 31 Express from Michigan to Canada each summer. After my dad passed she bought her own boat and learned to drive and navigate at age 70. She was a regular fixture in Marco Island for many years until her passing in 2007
Love all the vintage photos! 1972 – My mom & brother at the helm of the 1959 Chris Craft 23′ cruiser my family had in the ’70s.
How do you guys post vintage photos? I can’t find the slot to insert a Polaroid into my phone.
You are from Rochester and you use a Polaroid?
LOL,
I even worked for Kodak at one time. Well, I can’t find anyone who will develop my Disc film or even my 110 rolls, and my phone can’t read them either.

Here is Mom in her CC “Yorktown”. (Not a vintage shot, but very cool) We have a very old pic on Mom and Dad in an old wooden boat name “Sea Clam” but it is not digitized.
Here is Sandi in one of her world famous “Header” shots.
