On Thursday Night at 6Pm your charming presence is requested. OK, that may be an over stretch. How about this. If you happen to be in area and see a crowd of people that look un comfortable on land, you should stop by?  So something in between is the truth. We hope to see you there.

I HEAR THE TRAIN A COMING—–ITS ROLLIN ROUND THE BEND—

THE CANNON-BALL-EXPRESS, THE FAMOUS STEAM LOCOMOTIVE THAT HAS
APPEARED IN MANY CLASSIC MOVIES WILL JOIN THE SUNNYLAND CHAPTER
FOR A WELCOME RECEPTION AT THE TAVARES TRAIN STATION ON

THURSDAY NIGHT 6 PM MAR 17, 2016

THE RECEPTION IS SPONSORED BY THE SUNNYLAND CHAPTER AND ALL OUR
GOLD SPONSORS FOR THE 2016 SHOW. THIS PROMISES TO BE SPECIAL EVENT
AND ITS OPEN TO ALL BOAT SHOW PARTICIPANTS.

WE WILL ENJOY SOME ADULT LIBATIONS AND WE WILL ALL BOARD THE TRAIN FOR A SHORT RIDE OVER THE MISTIC DORAL CANAL AND RETURN TO THE STATION.

THE EVENT STARTS AT 6PM AND WILL FEATURE COCKTAILS, BEER, WINE AND LIGHT FOOD. WE WILL BE JOINED BY THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER, CITY STAFF AND THE TAVARES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

MARCH 17TH IS ST. PATRICKS DAY AND O’KEEFE’S RESTAURANT, A FAMOUS IRISH PUB NEXT TO THE TRAIN STATION WILL FEATURE A LIVE STREET BAND AND GREEN BEER.

RIDDING THE CANNON BALL EXPRESS IS AN EVENT YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS AND WILL BE A GREAT START FOR OUR 29TH ANNUAL ANTIQUE BOAT FESTIVAL.

      If the plan IS to get rid of everyone on the train, and we are suddenly without Matt, I call dibs on Wecatchum. W engine and everything.

      On the other hand, maybe the plan is to rid everyone on the train of something in their lives. I still call dibs on Wecatchum. Matt, I promise to take good care of her, and make sure she is out of the boathouse often.
