Oh Those Tahoe Interiors.
A huge thanks to Steve Lapkin for keeping the Tahoe Show going here on Woody Boater. Its not easy to be at the show, trying to harvest a bazillion photos and then try and weed through the great stuff at night when you are exhausted. Been there and tried to do that. But we here can have fun with scraps and today we have some amazing interiors that should inspire us all to go beyond Red and Blue!
I think your “favorite” green interior and deck seams belong to a 1940. 25 sportsman.
Al’s triple had birdseye maple on the dash if I recall. looking for a picture of it and will post if i locate it. I agree that has a great (if somewhat campy) granny smith apple colored upholstery.
The Tahoe show is definitely on my bucket list! Looking forward to more pictures.
On a different note I was in the Les Cheneaux/Hessel Show yesterday and I wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful crew they always have. The show is extremely well organized (especially with the launch and retrieve) and everyone is so friendly.
I was also at the Hessel boat show yesterday. Very good show! beautiful day, beautiful boats and great people. 😅👍
If you like to see V-12 Triples then Hessel was the place to be.

Great variety from non power through cruiser as well.
Incredible local effort and dedication. Hope somebody has pics to share.
Great pictures, Steve….Reminds Pat & me when we attended more regularly and you treated us so well.
I attended the Hessel show for the first time yesterday, too and was blown away by the size and quality. I figured I would be going to a sleepy boat show in some remote area of the UP….boy was I wrong. My only complaint was that there were too many people. I guess thats a good problem for the area and the organizers and the hobby. But I was thinking mostly about me amd my personal space
With your connections I would think you had no problems with space. Unless you were weaving while walking down the docks. 🤣
Love the Zebra interior on the Riva! Beautiful pictures!
