Positive And Negative Day – Oh It Gets Deep, Or Not.

The negative – is it a Rocket? Night shoot?
Today you get to choose how you read the story. You can just look at the photos, or read the copy and get a deep insightful blabber fest on how we all look at the universe. Are you a glass half full or empty kinda person. Do you use the term “I am a realist” meaning, the negative is always true. See? You are trapped in the deeper spiritual meaning of just some negatives found on ebay. Link at end of story.

same image, see? You can understand more now. Painted hull with logo?
As you can see, the negatives create an image of darkness, at night? And you are not sure if its backwards, or what is really going on. Kinda when you see the world in negative terms. It can cloud the brightness of life. These images are just a cool way to make the argument, that sometimes the brightness of where and when you are, is right there in front of you. It’s all in how you choose to see things.

Negative – Negatives were the way your camera captured the image on film, then in the dark room it would be converted to paper.

This is a snazzy place. Is the guy about to punch the other guy, or is he about to help? See.. Positive negative.
With all this said, these negatives are a rare chance to see life clearly from the past. Time captured, and in focus and crisp. Not the crappy camera stuff. Who ever took these images, had a good eye, and good camera. And that brings up the other way to see this story.

The negative

Love the way the name is done. , The hat guy is the bomb. Thats the look. Note, no shorts.
Where and when is this? Florida? California? The seller is out of Tennessee, so East Coast is more likely. It feels like a Vacation resort kinda place. Very well manicured, and a crew of people that are there to make life nice.

Night shot?

Or a sunny paradise

Negative

Post war logo, pre war bow?
As to date. POST WAR. The logo on the Chris Craft dates it. But some of the shots of the family scream 1930’s with all the womens clothing. It is possible that some shots were taken earlier???? Or maybe this family is still lost in the pre war universe. Which gets us back to the way we see the universe. Stuck in time, or ready to move on?

Is he reading the paper?

The next generation of fancy people. Is that Mom, dad and grandma?

A nice cruise

Same day, same baby, the ladies hat feels very 1930’s. The one thing that is throwing the time question is the post war logo on the Chris Craft.
Ugh.. Okay, I have worn out my typing fingers and my outlook on life is shifting to, do I pee before I eat breakfast, or after? HERE IS THE LINK TO THE EBAY NEGATIVES.
First and most importantly you can pee both before and after breakfast.
I think these photos are from a family group both pre and post war. Kinda sad memories sold online. Negative. But they look like a happy group. Positive
If you put on fresh diapers, you can pee during the story as well. mmmmmm its warm now..
It does look like a 47 painted Rocket. The weird part is the short spray rail that only is in the aft third of boat. Maybe that is why hat guy doesn’t wear a shirt – he showers on the boat while underway.
Yesterday was las gasp for Rocket Man. Got both a compression and leak down test kit so I will getting a baseline on both to track going forward.
I am positive that I will be looking forward to lake Dora when the temperatures are negative.
Hurricanes, pandemics, global apocalypse, Troy showing up? Who cares? I am still going!
Two things that bother me. 1 why would somone put old negitives on e bay? 2 How did you find them? Pretty cool though. I think I’ll take a pee now.
I’m confused… Wheres my coffee?
The optimist says: the glass is half full.
The pessimist says: the glass is half empty.
The engineer says: the vessel is improperly sized for it’s intended use.
The lawyer wants to know: Who is liable for the missing volume and who is responsible for the remaining volume?
The accountant wants to know: what department does the this get charged to?
The tax preparer wants to know: Do you want to deduct it in one year, or depreciate it over the next 5 years.
The Woodyboater says: It does not matter because there is not enough volume to “float my boat”!
I left out Matt.
The Artist says: It does not matter the volume in the container, what is really important is how the light is reflected.
Looks like a ‘47 special runabout to me. I’m not positive. But I’m definitely not negative either.
