Railway, Dog, Family, And Sausage, Update.

Mr B and George
While everyone was prancing around the docks at boat shows, I was slammed on the Railway, family and zoom calls. And yes, I love 2 out of 3 of those. And it’s not the family or the Railway. Mr B has been full throttle and the Railway is slowly getting there, without erasing what is there, or what was there. Ugh, sometimes I feel like I am destroying the parts I love, but George is so kind, and has had many of the same jobs to do that I am enthusiastically tackling. The weather here in Reedville has been insane perfect and so I have tried to take full advantage of it while it lasts.

Mr B is the supervisor of all.

Post Swimming Spaz!

Some of the sick trees removed. Wow that was painful to watch. I loved them but where issues.

300 year old oak tree had to go. Soft, dead, and ugh. Hanging over the shop. I almost cried. So sad to say goodby. Its survived the Revolutionary war, Civil war, The Kardashians.. And yet.. UGh ugh ugh

Cleaned up. Kinda naked, but it will be replanted and used well. Now I need to bring some texture and history back in

Wood piles being moved, and using scrap lumber to design landscape. The walkway is where a house used to be. I am seriously considering moving a small old house back here for a Air Band B, Captains Quarters. Or not?

Thats the Elva C, a wonderful Buyboat in the area.

Excuse me sir, but there is a boat in my office! Zoom call day!

Off she goes after her paint and clean up

Found another old Kennedy tool box.

A timeless moment

The Boatress had her 60th B day here the other night. Perfect setting

Full moon over the water

Shindig at the railway

The Boatress likes her Cheese Puffs. Try and eat just one? Go ahead? Try.

The Family. Together for the first time since 2015!
Love the Elva C, but the family photo was even better!
Save some of that oak tree. Dry it I would love to turn you a nice vase or bowl with it.
Matt, do you ever feel you’re livin the dream? The photos tell me that you are. Enjoy!
A very happy Birthday to Suzy from New Zealand. The railway is looking amazing. Are you getting eaten alive by bugs and fly’s in these evening pictures or is does the lack of them make this even more perfect.?
All GREAT stuff!!
Happy Birthday Suzy!!!
The family photo indicates to me that you could use a few grandkids eating cheese puffs in the back of your boats!
…and wiping their cheese puff colored hands on your oriental carpet. But its a shop. Doesn’t Suzy get a boat for her birthday?
Good stuff, Happy Birthday Suzy.
Happy Birthday Suzy. What a great family picture, candid shot ! Please have that Oak log slabbed. I would hate to see 300 years cut up for firewood. Make a boat out of it.
Love what you are doing Matt! How cool! Birthday greetings to the First Lady on Woodyboater!
A very happy birthday to the Boatress! And count me with those who say you need to do something special with that historic oak.
I went Boating..but you had the best day!
Happy Birthday Suzi!

You should have brought a portable mill in and had that log slabbed up or turned into dimensional lumber – you could have air dried it and used it in the rail house or air bnb. You know. With all that time you have….
Really love what you’ve done o the place and I’m in here now then for a sneak peak!
Your are a true master in turning crap into art and even home styling!
Best regards
