Very rare, this cushion now can save more than just your tuckass! from pain, bu

Several months ago we featured this rare boat cushion on ebay, it sold for over 200 bucks. We later got a message from the buyer Camron Bussard who decided he wanted to DONATE it to a good cause that helps the classic boat hobby grow. So I promised such a thing. And what could be better than helping the classic boat hobby help find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer? not much, so we decided to haul it up to Torch Lake for the Cruise for the cure event on July 19th. Turns out this event is not going to be some small gathering anymore. With over 70 boats registered, and 200 tickets sold to the dinner on Friday night. This event is going to be quite the gathering in a couple weeks. Chad Duran, and Matt Bryne and other Woody boaters, are also headed up with there show boats, Tommy Holmes will be there having fun. Like that’s hard for Tommy to do! This year the event is all about Century Boats. And now the cushion. If you want this baby, it will be there and only available there as part of the fund raising auction. Now, if you can’t wait to donate, there is a DONATE  button on the Cruise for the cure website, just click here and Donate away. Your Pancreas thanks you ! And yes, I had to google Pancreas! Thank you very much!

Lost my Mom to Pancreatic Cancer. And my Dad to Prostate Cancer. And my best friend (dog) to Mesothelioma (cancer of the chest wall lining). And my wife lost her best friend to breast cancer at age 38, leaving behind two young boys.

Who hasn’t been directly or indirectly touched by this disease?

The combination of a worthy cause and a classic boating event should pull each and every one of us to chip in. It’s an especially nice thing to do today, on the eve of Independence Day, which we are all so fortunate to celebrate.

The torch lake show features a floating picnic with submarines and a one hour presentation on the future of bottom paint, how much fun can we have!!

There will also be an opening event Friday morning. Be ready to launch at DeWitt Marine at 9 am and take part in a fun poker run on Clam and Torch Lakes. Travel from stop to stop picking up a card at each then end at the picnic site by noon at Torch Lake Township. Join the fun and raise money for the weekend’s cause. 100% of the cost for the run $20 per hand you wish to play all goes towards the cause. Great morning run using your boat to kick off the weekend! See you there!
