Sisters Of The Immaculate Varnish Job?
Yesterday while stuck in the car driving back from an awards event, I got several emails from Woody Boaters with this above image from above. It was pure torture, I couldn’t post this divine photo, so today, we have a second coming of sorts. Now to many this may appear to just be a strange photo of two Nuns in a Century boat. But of course to me and many of our fellow citizens, PURE COMMENT GOLD! It’s like a gift from the ebay god, or gods, or what ever you believe in. WE DO NOT JUDGE. It’s here, and on ebay so if you want to pay $49.95.. GOOD LORD, for it, it can be yours. For us here it’s priceless. I can not even imagine the back story on this photo. I know, Nuns can have fun. But today we get to have some good fun as well. Does anyone have a back story on this. After all it comes without a caption, so we get to make it up.
Maybe if you have a Century like this, you can buy this photo and make it part of the history of the boat? Call it, Sister Century? Names anyone? See how rich this photo is? Its endless. TROY, you will go to hell, depending on what you post? Be careful. HE is watching. After all its clear that Jesus is a Woody Boat guy. Not sure why? After all he can walk on water.
I have to stop now, this is like comment quick sand for me. I will be apologizing for this story for years. We have set up a complaint hotline, but it doesn’t work yet. Why? Well, the people that set it up, are idiots and don’t answer the phone or email. I would complain about them, but..well… you get it.
Well nuns do travel in pairs, I guess that picture makes perfect sense.
When the holy “walk on water”, the nuns motor out and pick’em up.
Simply Divine!
Sister Ship
oh my. I was schooled by nuns….so I am still understandably scared to comment.
We had all best be prepared for Troy’s picture posting to counter those two saintly sailors……

Me too, John. I think we’re safe though. I don’t see any rulers within reach.
There are some churches on islands
I dunno….my Mum would say it just looks like two old broads in a boat.
Nun of my business, but I wonder if they confessed to having too much fun that day!?
Man, I feel guilty just looking at the photo! My knuckles are still sore after 60+ years. I guess each nun was issued a ruler with their rosary.
But hey, Nun’s just gotta have fun too!
They must be from the Chris Craft’s. The Nuns here attend Our Lady of the Fairliner Torpedo!
I hope they are knot too hot out in the sun in those black robes!
… this whole topic today is nunsence.
Would there have been a need for religious intervention to keep a Century afloat? Asking for a friend.
This could lead to a bad habit.
Yeah…those being HABITS and not robes…..but those are good habits…like checking this site every day….not strange habits like a bacon fixation…..nor bad habits like failing to Go Boating!
Rained out here.

Quite a picture! We all know why Nuns travel in pairs. Nuff said, There used to be a calander called “Nuns Having Fun” with a different picture every month.. The driver looks like the nun I had for CCD class in the 5th grade. Happy Boating Sisters!
WOW! The percentage of commentators that were SCHOOLED by Nun’s is amazing.
I like the new age Nuns a little better, and yes Matt this is the mild picture just for you.
Speaking of Nuns and boating.
Have you ever seen a Dink on a Nun?
I have!
I remember the “Ruler Rule” But in 2nd grade ours had a Yard Stick. You couldn’t run or hide. I remember thinking they probably never even had to go to the bathroom…ever!
