Sometimes One Image Says More Than A Thousand
Yesterdays classic boat show here in Reedville was a hit as usual. Every year it gets just a little better. With it being a workboat featured show, the variety of boats was amazing. And of course I could show you all the images. But I decided that I would select the one image that captures it all, and in fact I am sure there are shows out there that have the same traditions and friendships. This to me is what our passion is about.
Okay about this image, it’s our own John Rothert and HIS chair. The funniest part of it all is people were sitting in it, and once they saw John, the sea was parted. John sat down, click and got up and kept walking around. The image of John sitting at the Reedville show is years long, and now I look forward to it! Thanks John for humoring me and all of us.

This is the last, hull number 13, of the originals built in California…molds sold to Express Yachts in Canada…made a few more.

Definitely see the Elco influence, vert similar to our 1928 34’ Elco Cruisette I think they called it. Been sitting in the shed for 10+ years. Just needs a refresh 😉
