Summer Loving Had Me A Blast!

Oh ya!
This week, I am going to try and work from home, and so it allows me to commit some extra time to joy of boating. As in, I can justify getting the boats in the water, which of course is never really that simple. Stinky has been sitting patiently all winter waiting for a ride, so I was happy to oblige.

After an oil change, and some tweaking, she started right up. Jimmy helped by adjusting the rudder, which was leaking, and now not! That simple.
The best part, was the Boatress was so desperate for any kind of boat ride, she agreed on a ride in Stinky. Ya? It shocked me as well.

mmmmm, will this work?

Oh ya. Rumble Rumble

The Boatress was ready

There is a process to this. Lift off, I go to the other dock, makes it easier to climb in

Picked up and ready to rumble – what could possibly go wrong? mmmm, well I have a list!

Lets go!

Her new ish engine runs perfectly. We have been having some carb issues, but not on this trip.

Just fun, fun and more fun

A huge thanks to Jimmy and Lynn for capturing this moment. They went out as well on the Regulator, which is a true BEAST!

The Boatress was holding on to anything that wouldnt break! As in me!

Stinky cranked like a champ, knowing she had this one chance to prove herself to the Boatress

GO!

According to Jimmy boat, she is doing around 30. Which is more than fast enough. 2700 RPM

What fun

We had a fun moment of just turning around while Lynn captured it all

What a fun boat!

And just one more turn. The Boatress started laughing, or screaming, or yelling.

Timeless!
And then it happened. The photo of all photos for me. Maybe none of you. But to me, this is now one of my favorite photos ever.

32 years of love, joy and happiness. As nuts as I am, she gets me, and best of all, I get her.. The Boatress, not Stinky. I still don’t understand Stinky.

And on our way home. A two hour un eventful run.

That is one large stack.

Back home

Back to the lift
There are special moments like this that erase all the pain, and work. A very thanks again to Lynn for the photos. Funny thing, that it’s very rare for me to have photos like this.

This will be a print in my office very soon!
Pure joy! This is why I am a WoodyBoater. Thank you for sharing your boats and your life with us. It truly makes each day better.
Work from home more often!
That’s what it’s ALL about!
Love you two!
Wonderful shots of a fun ride for both of you. I hope your working from home is practicing for retirement. You could do stuff like this all the time!
Great story and photos!
That’s a real cool series of shots, love them! 😀
…but Matt, don´t you guys over there use life jackets or was it because of the photoshoot? 😉
I only provide life jackets for children and dogs. Everyone else is expendable.
Fantastic photos! Obviously a wonderful boat ride. Looks like working from home agrees with you.
Great pics👍 That’s what I’m going to do today. Get out there! You have inspired me.
You inspire all of us to just get out there and “Make some Wake”.
We plan to take out the Coronado a couple of times this week with my Grand Daughters. With the rainy spring, we have had little chance to use her.
I can not believe summer is 1/3 over already!
That is one great set of pictures that makes me smile! Love seeing you both in your glory!
Great set of photos,,,,Gives all of us a greter appreiation for life..
When it all works – it is like crack and we are addicted just like that. Makes of for the trials we sometimes face hoping for another great outing. Thanks for sharing – super cool on all fronts.
Please drop me a line. I have a question
Just getting a chance to see this again on the big screen, the iPhone pictures just don’t do it justice and the option to click on view image and expand it with your quality on the desktop is a great option. If you could have only unwrapped that stern flag, ya, I’m OCD too. THe Boatress looks like she’s hanging on for dear life, but enjoying it with a smile. Awesome day, much bettter than mine finding water in 4 out of 8 cylinders on my barn find or I should say Marketplace find ’75 Century, ugh
Great pictures, you two love birds.
you are one lucky guy….
John in Va….been GOing Boating!
Likewise Floyd. Im just looking at these on a big screen. Sensational pictures of a sensational couple. Stinky looks super cool cutting a path through the water. Happy days you two.
