Sweating The Details

,

The Babe is now on there. Yes she is a factory babe, before that sort of thing was frowned upon. Actually the entire Zip Family is in this shot. Time bomb, the Engine and the Trash can as motivation. Still working on a name for him. I swear they may be a children’s book in this. The Adventures of Zip, TIme Bomb and Trashy the trash can.

If you were following the comments yesterday, we were working out a zipper design for zip. I was of course sweating like a French Whore In Church..  The Boatress’s favorite say’n.. Anyway. I was, and cleaning up the Mercury Outboard with a rattle can as well. I mean it’s a rattle can inside the engine, why not on the outside. Anyway, I did get the Rich-Line Babe on Zip, and F###kty F*** F##K the deck started crazing. HOW?  I used only the finest Derusto Primer and paint. No difference. Even wet sanded between coats. Which now that I think of it, maybe the water had a little sumthn in it from a previous something. Or Heat? Could heat have caused that?  Either way, its about 20 degrees cooler here today. So, I suppose we will..wait…I will be stripping that deck. And getting ready for the Zipper. Thanks to everyone for the fun feedback.

Time Bombe getting her cowl done

This one is a bit of a mind F%^&K

Mr B is not enjoying the heat. He stepped out and then went right back in the shade.

Wayne Bomb! Oh boy, are they related? The entire place is a bunch of ticking time bombs.

This is the worked out Zip Art, not that Art, but thanks to That Art, we have this Art.

From yesterday

From Yesterdays comments. – I am gonna kill the lettering on the side, but the zipper down the side cracks me up

It WAS fun reading the various comments and suggestions. The boat is looking pretty sweet. I love it that Mr B is always there to give his two cents worth! I hope you, the Boatress and Mr B can all stay cool today!

I love the final solution and all the commentary while you worked it out. I still prefer the zipper pulled back a bit showing the bare aluminum scar, but this is great also!

Stay cool, and don’t try painting anything while the humidity is above 100%!

Well i’m glad my vote and picture inspired you Matt. Trust me, I could have sent in a more risqa one . But you would not have posted it.

One issue of the leaving the scar open is the zipper looks like its paint on the zipper, not the metal being zipped together
