The First Official Photo Shoot In Over A Year. Yip Yap Portraits.

Let’s do this!
I am getting to old for this ship! Those are the words I spoke to myself after riding in Yip Yap for 30 minutes. Good god. Fun? Yes, exhilarating? Yes! But after I got done, I couldn’t think straight for an hr. Oh, and had to pee like a race horse. It’s not the beating, it’s just all of it. Wind, worrying about if the transom is going to fall off, and you can feel every ripple in the water. And yet, I will go back, and back again.

Slow and steady! You just park and shoot. Mother nature and a good driver do all the work. Oh and a good assistant
Now there is a ton of shots, and I didn’t send myself any captions, so I will make them up as I go? Some were shot by the Berlin Bureau, and some by Bruiser. Who by the way, also had to pee when it was over.

12 ft of pure bladder pounding fun

Checking the bilge pump. She has a slight bladder problem. We all do by this age

At this point, my son gave up and had to pee. So I took the helm with Mr B… Who LOVED IT! Kinda.

Okay, lets try this.

Yes, Great Whirlwind shots! The transformation of the look by painting that motor is perfect! Are you selling WB burgees? I also need to get some WB Tshirts to rock at this summers Boat Shows and classic car meets…
Great photos! Looks like much fun was had. Need to get my Aristocraft on the water soon. Pic from last summer.
Hope to see you on the pond!
Miles,
Love the model! Did you build it?
Those are some great pictures! That just looks like a fun littkle boat. No wander you were so nervis. Trying to drive a small boat with ta Dog on your lap.
Sure looks better on the water! Great photos!
Oh damn. The Yap does not like snow! Summer only
That green bottom goes so well with the stained wood of the Whirlwind but does anyone else think the one star burgee reminds them of the USSR flag, just missing the hammer and sickle?
You should consider a bright colored life jacket for Mr B just in case. Water temperatures in Alaska are never more than 42-3 degrees so we all wear them just in case. You’re SOL after 3-4 minutes without one and hypothermic with one when someone drags you out.
Awesome pictures. Man that fruited up outbound looks great.
