Pre war Alarm Clock?

I cant turn back time, but stop it from time to time

I can take a new photo and make it old?

I can make up some time

Okay, I am awake now. It’s about time!
Just trying to keep the ball rolling!
I’d drop Cher for the Stones “Time is on my side”. I won’t bother with the link but you can find them on Youtube appearing on Ed Sullivan Show. Time was a major theme – they also did “The Last Time”, “Time Waits for No One”, “We’re Wastin’ Time”, and “Summertime Blues”. The screaming girls on Ed Sullivan circa 1965 are a beyond my comprehension.
Jeez, I hope you meant 8 PM.
I had a real job for one year out of College…then, on my way to a total change I headed to Powhatan Va…had to cross the James River, hookshot my WATCH over the side of the bridge…never had one since. Time being my own for the past 50 years!
TIME: to Go Boating…a bit gray here today though.

Pink Floyd Time Itll wake you up!
Lyrics
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I’d something more to say
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
And when I come home cold and tired
It’s good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells
Pretty deep but relevant.. jusy sayin”
Wow, I’ve heard that song a million times and never picked up on the whole lyrics until you posted it. There are some deep song writers out there besides Bob Dylan. Thanks for posting Frank.
Heres a link.. I love to blast this when someone over sleeps! Never fails to wake em up… the alarm clocks !
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
One of my favorite clocks. I like the patina and what it’s telling you!
