Our photographer snuck out in an old aluminum row boat and just blended in with the lake, while snapping away these breathtaking images .

I’ve been a passenger in a Cobra. Once in a lifetime for me I’m sure. To see 2 run together?! Looking forward to seeing Proto tomorrow.

It’s great to see that Kats knowns the CC design orientation of the lifting rings……………….kudos to Kats.
Art what makes you think the lift rings are in the correct orientation?

How can you even tell with the bow light in the way?
It can be seen in most of the other photos.
BTW the “other” Cobra also has them positioned
correctly.
A few years ago there was a big controversy as lots of owners/restores had them with the hole going side to side.
The for to aft hole orientation design is simple, if the boat was lifted without the suggested spreader bar (using a strap or cable to clear the fin) the lifting rings could/would get bend inward. The bow lifting ring could be orientated either was but CC designed it to be the same as the aft ones.
Art, Joe Kabot who was a Boat Show judge and a Cobra Boat owner had the holes of the lift rings on his Cobra side to side not aft like you claim is the correct position. And Joe was considered an expert on Cobra’s.
What a beautiful Boat!!!! After seeing what she looked like under the blue tarp. to seeing her running with the other Cobra, Damn! Hats off to Katz for saving her, and making her look so great! I can see a Darrel Bush painting coming from the classic lake scene.
Salad Bar! There was a restaurant in Santa Rosa CA that had an old Chris Craft inside that was converted into a salad bar. One of these would make an awesome salad bar. Open the fiberglass hatch and pick from ranch or thousand island! They are cool looking and make great photo shoots, just need some iceberg lettuce and croutons! Probably more practical than as a boat in everyday use. Pretty though!
