It’s cold out there today, lets warm it up a bit here in Woodyboaterville. So we thought we would ask the big question. Whats the sexiest boat made? Now if you find a huge new Cobalt sexy you need to leave. GO.. We don’t want you in town. GET OUT, take your shiny plastic crap with your tramp stamped ho with you. Now for the rest of us classy folks, bring out your sexy! Each classic boat, and we are including fiberclassics has a certain style. Is it a small Hydro? A Utility, elegand and classy Hacker? Cobra? I suppose it’s all subjective, what ever floats your boat we say.
Rivas are always Sexy, but is it because of the babes?
OK, the boat is not all that important here. ITS COLD OUTSIDE!
Perhaps its a sportsman? Hey.. It’s kinda like a pick up truck. But trucks can be sexy.
Any boat that Carla from Hagerty Marine Insurance is in?
Race boat or chunk of Mahogany?
Anything with a top? These sexy hard tops are stunning. But sexy?
What about a sexy Racer? These are stunning, but secretly do the gals flock to her? Yes this is a former header.
Chris Craft barrel back? Its iconic, and stunning, but sexy?
A U22, not a sexy boat? Maybe with a blonde interior? Sexy!
I will admit that the larger Sportsman do it for me. but for her?
Twin engine 25 Sportsman? Does two motors add to the sexyness?
Gar Wood? Miss Lisa, Karen Harrison, sunglasses…. this could be a big winner.

I think that a Riva just reeks of sex. You can just vision bikini babes riding around the French Riviera on one.

I have to break it down into 2 categories…
Pre-War: For me, the sexiest boat made is hands down – the 1926 30′ Belle Isle Super Bear Cat. Elegance, power, history, performance – it’s got it all.
Post-War: The one and only Riva Aquarama Super – European styling & craftsmanship, twin power and magnificent performance & handling. Plus it has a Play Pen.
And the best part is I got to drive them both on the same day thanks to my friend Kermit Sutton.
If we are talking about “play pens” nothing beats a BIG Cruiser.
We could make a Country song, “She thinks my cruisers sexy”.
Of course the sexiest of all cruisers is non other than John Hackers Thunderbird.

Since most of us are a pretty conservative bunch it makes sense that our wives and daughters also fall into that category. Regardless of what Matt says I think if you are looking for skimpy bikinis you need to look for the big twin glass deep V’s (Cigarettes, Formulas, and Fountains)

I agree with the Greavette Streamliner comment. Remember this black one from Cobourg Kid’s report last winter? What a striking look! Also, do a Google search for images of a Greavette named Curlew. Was the precursor to the Streamliners, and probably the best Canadian runabout ever.
