Wonderful Small Rug From Artist Heidi Dobrott
For the record, and you know I have said this over and over again, the newer mass produced fake art crap, photoshoped and printed on stuff drives me nuts. I HATE IT, and its an insult to the fine art that our beloved boats embody. But from time to time, a true artist captures the essence of it all, and nails it. Meet artist Heidi Dobrott from the west coast, who has a wonderful simple style that is original. And it is mass produced, and thats okay. Fine art for the fine masses. Her work can be seen all over the place, and now she has made a cool small indoor rug with us in mind. Us and in the community, and the lifestyle, not us as in Woody Boater, but if she wants we are cool with that. Because its all cool.
You can find the boat rug all over the place and priced all over the place. On ebay for 51 bucks and other areas for around 49 bucks which is about the same, its at Walmart, Home Depot, and all over the place. Lets buy them all up so they will make more in different forms! A huge that’s to Heidi Dobrott for doing this. And Walmart, Amazon, Hopedepot, and a bunch of small shops!
Just Google this heidi-dobrott vintage boat it show up all over the place and you can buy it where ever you want.
I’d comment on how great this is but I’m busy cooking and have to pay attention. Wait I just commented…….shoot something is burning. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Woodyboaters out there.
Neat rug. Im always being asked what I want for birthday Christmas presents (both in December) and this would be great.
BTW The 20′ Riveria auction on EBay has been updated, they actually uncovered the boat (partially) for more of a tease… Either this guy is a total marketing genius with the tease or total tool for not taking a few more pics!
But back to the rug… Im sure there will be a few under Christmas trees this season.. Great find!
Wow, I will head back tot he 20 riv
She needs to ship another welcome mat with it, one with a pontoon boat on it. Now that’s a mat I could wipe my feet on cause I would avoid the woody one.
Thats a great idea. A pontoon foot wiper
Yeah, I’d agree with Floyd….too nice to actual step on.
Here’s another Christmas gift idea for those clear thinking folks….
