Woody Boater Global HQ Location For National Geographic Drain The Oceans

Talking around Mr “B”ench

Part of the fun here at HQ is you are never quite sure whats going to happen each day. One moment you are varnishing, then there is a boat sinking, then a wedding, and then, a film location. Such was the case a while back this past year. This seasons Drain The Oceans Series. VERY COOL BTW, Season 6 Episode 5 Invasion USA is set on the Chesapeake Bay and is a fantastic episode talking about the ships used to defend the USA from the British during the war of 1812, and about slaves that could escape and earn their freedom by the British if they joined the British Army.

Enter stage right, or is that Port? Starboard?

Global HQ was used for a series of shots as part of the episode. A setting so to speak. I definitely recommend watching the series.  The production quality is fantastic and of course it’s National Geographic standards. Which does not describe my horrible screen grabs. Hey. it is what it is.

The office setting. No Mr B…

YOU CAN WATCH THE ENTIRE SERIES HERE, or through Your Amazon Prime Video and is moving to Disney+

Congrats on the next level of notoriety for WoodyBoater, but this old varnish head can’t figure out how to access Season 6 Episode 5!
I guess I will keep getting ready for the Algonac party.

Who needs a motor on a boat, when you have as many “oars in the water” as you do Matt. You are a busy guy! Interesting story, but Mr B would have been a plus for them!
