2008 Mt Dora Fla. Antique & Classic Boat show

As we tuck away our boats for there winter nap, it’s nice to know that classic boating season starts in March. Now for some of you in the northern areas that sounds strange. But in Florida, it’s a great time to go boating. It’s also a great time to buy a nice classic woody boat. And the best place to do that is in the Lake region in Central Florida. About an hr from Orlando and Daytona. This year promises to be the best so far. The show has moved from Mt. Dora to to Wooten Park in Tavares Fla. Tavares is right across the lake from Mt. Dora on Dora Lake. The shows dates are March 27th -30th. The Sunnyland Chapter of the ACBS is one of the best in the country and really knows how to put on a great event. There is a fantastic flea market, as well as everyone in the business is there. It’s a great place to meet old friends and make new ones. We stay in Daytona and make the 1 hr drive.
