CCCCCCCOLD Start At Lake Dora.
AGAIN, Holly Weber saves the day with her amazing images. I have some, but do you really want to see photos of Porta Pottys, cause those always crack me up. And Holly’s phots are soooo much betterer. Anyway, the day started out COLD. Like in the 40’s with a wind cold. YIKES. So from a traffic perspective very quiet. BUT.That gave us all time to enjoy life.

A Barrel of fun

I have no clue, but its cool

Art? You showed up?

WOOOOOWOOOF!

Gad Zooks. What a great shot. Holly really nails those life moments

Look ! Mom, A flying Snake! NOT FUNNY!

A family tradition that warms my heart. Either that or it was some of that 80 lbs of Chicken MFine made last night for the party. Good god!

This is just one set of about 8 trays of chicken at Paul and Karens place. Even the cops came! OH HELL YA

AMAZING!

Okay back to Holly! Rumble Rumble. Wait hold on, thats still the chicken….

There she is again. My love

Okay, Jenny was out all day giving rides. And I mean all day, and its was wonderful to see, hear and yes. Smell. THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! Today is supposed to be an amazing day. As to the show, here is what I know.
All the dock slips were sold out and had a waiting list, the field of dreams is a record maker. And stuff was selling aggressively, Land displays also had a waiting list too. The show is in a better setting, far far easier to get into. And creates the feeling of openness, but there is a good solid showing of sponsors and boats for todays traffic jam of Florida People. OH YA! Ever seen a traffic jam of Rascals? I know we will.
Great photos. Jenny is a really unique and cool boat. I would love to get a ride in her. Thanks Holly and Matt and enjoy show day!
And what those of us that couldn’t make it got to enjoy
Yup, snowing here in SE Michigan this morning. Ugh.
So much I wish I could see firsthand from the pictures today! I LOVE the painted Red, White and Blue barrelback. I feel I have seen pictures of her before, but this angle or lighting really makes it. Also, is that a barrelback with an outboard? I have never seen that before. It looks like it’s riding REALLY low. Illusion?
Thanks again for all the pictures!
The barrelback with the outboard is an Aristocraft Torpedo. That one does look like the stern is sitting very low in the water. Surprisingly low, being that the motor is an old two stroke, which tend to be significantly lighter than modern four strokes.
Thanks for the pictures Holly! Or picking up on a comment a few days ago, do we change the spelling of your name to Holley? Matt, did Troy get my T-shirt yet? I regret missing this start of the season event!
Thanks Holly!!!
Great stuff!
Wonderful photos today!
Thank you Holly.
Matt, I have a photo of a port a potti too. But just one.
It’s a two holer with a view.
Monument Valley
Great shots Holly. I love the shots on the Dora canal. Enjoy everyone.
