And Now Back To Jimmy’s For The Final Prep. Just 3 Days Til Splashdown.

All the extras are ready!
Sunday was spent getting WECATCHEM ready for the big trip and show. We found a couple leaky spots and fixed them, installed the deck and fixed some loose screws… And yes, I have loose screws! Many of the bottom bolts were a tad loose and were hand tightened. Battery cables replaced with the correct size for a 6 volt system.

A warmish day at Jimmys farm made a perfect day to finish WECATCHEM

Turn a little here and there

The Zipper is headed to Florida on Wednesday!

The Deck is in and ready for rides

Bilge Bucket in Bilge red.
Three days until Dora but River cruise starts this morning…Well, actually last night, if you count dinner at the Yacht Club.
Can’t believe I was the first to post….Guess that’s because Troy and the others are scrurrying to the Cracker Barrel before heading out for the river cruise.
This is the third day on the river for Sandi and I. Great Weather, Great Friends, and AWESOME boats!
Special thanks to Vic and Miss Alice for help with the launch on Saturday.
Look forward to seeing pics of her at Dora Matt. I’ve had 14 in mine. Let’s see how many you can tote in yours.
Safe travels.
What’sa bilge bucket??
This is a prototype. We may have found a source for the Bilge colored buckets. https://www.woodyboater.com/blog/2011/04/16/phil-said-thats-as-close-as-i-want-to-get-the-plastic-bucket-saved-it/
with all this hype on original keys, oil cans fuel sticks, zippers and the rest why a plastic bucket? shouldn’t it be galv or porcelain coated
Have to agree with Bill on that, wooden pail would be even better.
Gotcha.
now your going to far in the other direction, wooden pails are too early . you know matts is a perfectionist on this stuff that’s why I couldn’t believe the plastic pail, old chipped up porcelain would be about right
You know I liked the bucket as soon as I saw the header this am:):):)
Going to Hartwell , back to the scene of the crime April 13-15
Phillip – Of all the spring / summer boat shows in the south east (NC / SC / GA) in your opinion which ones are the “must see” shows? – Texx
The plastic bucket is to collect the rain water when Matt shows up at a show. He will be able to measure exactly the amount of rain that has fallen over the weekend with his new measuring stick.
Looking at the weather forecast for this weekend in Tavares the sun disappears on Thursday (Matts arrival), mainly cloudy on Friday and light rain on Saturday. I hope for Terry and the Sunnyland crew they are wrong.
Have a fun weekend and post lots of pictures.
Light rain is not a problem, it’s the total downpour that stinks! She is looking good Matt! Do take lotsa pictures!
We’ll be there. Can’t wait to see her.
Lunch on the river trip
Try 2
Oh the Crab Shack! Yummy! Have a great/fun cruise. See ya next year! I’m moving this year…
Safe travels to all on the River cruise, I am missing all of the fun, food and frivolity! See you all in Tavares!
