And then you are passed by a cool boat on a trailer… and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and then a cop! the entire train is going to have a police escort. I LOVE IT! The cool new space is also very cool. We have some behind the scene images of the construction and plans. These guys keep raising their game, its all great for the passion of classic boating, and here at Woody Boater we tip our hats at the entire gang for making the classic boating experience better for all of us.  Here is the press release and more info if you want to be part of this once in a lifetime event!

Getting ready for some paint!

After 20 years of being located in two 10,000 sq. ft. buildings in St. Bernard, Antique Boat Center is moving to larger and more centrally located facilities.  Our new facility is located off of I-75 at the Glendale Milford exit (#14).  The address is 10346 Evendale Drive, Evendale, Ohio 45241.

In addition to the more convenient location, the building is 32,500 sq. ft. which will allow us to continue our growth.  One other advantage to this facility is that it is totally sprinkled for improved safety.

On July 21st at 9:00 a.m., we will be moving approximately 70 boats from our current location to our new home.  We are asking friends of Antique Boat Center to bring their personal “tow vehicles” to help us make the move in “parade style”.  We will have a police escort for this short historic journey.

Upon arrival, a picnic celebration will be held involving all of our helpful friends, employees and spouses. Contact Melody at 513-242-0808 if you would like to be part of the fun.

Stay tuned for more fun updates as the grand opening gets closer! You can also visit their website here.

I am guessing the real reason for the police escort is to make sure I don’t volunteer to tow a 20 custom and then “accidentally” take the wrong exit.

They better have more than one cop then, lol. Will they pay for gas? from Atlanta? then I’m in.

Maybe if I put stolen plates on my truck and just happen to “get lost”, think they could find me? By the way, do any torpedo sterned boats need moving?

Gonna miss that old downtown industrial area tho, “movin on up to the northside”.
