Blackhawk Chapter / Chicago River Cruise.. A Test Run!

We put in on the South Branch, cruised through the industrial south side, then north through the city.

Passed under the bridges and by Chicago’s stunning architecture.

We then passed through the locks and onto Lake Michigan, where we met up for lunch at Columbia Yacht Club.
Thanks to Chapter President George Plamondon for organizing such an amazing event. And architect Bill Bickford, our guide, who let us all know what we were looking at along the way. Chicago is truly a treasure of historic and modern architecture.

The cruise was a test run for next year’s international show. I think it will be a hit.
