It’s Springtime In Woodyboaterville! Rrrrriiight? Dang It’s Chilly!

Out on the creek. Jimmy and I working the water ways with Becky and the Boatress bundled up
We did it. Boats are in, Faribault blankets are out, and smiles are a plenty. The water is crystal clear, the “Trusty Van Ness W” started right up and ran like smooth as silk. It’s supposed to be around 70 ish here in Reedville this weekend, so hopefully we can get the Trusty W broken in. Man oh man, a simple 15 minute ride can clear up so much winter blues. Woohooo!

Ok, maybe its a tad chilly! And yes, thats a snake

This thing was on the seat burred between some Florida stuff. I know where it came from though, and I will just say. Paybacks are hell!We do need a name for it now though!

Becky does NOT like snakes, even plastic ones!

Its a great day any day you’re on the water

Dang thats a good feeling being back at the helm

Jimmy at the helm!

Smoke’m if ya got’m, or even if your don’t got’m Name That snake!

Sunsets are made for Woody Boating

Throttle up to 2,000 RPM, the sweet spot

Yikes! Thats a little cold at that RPM

Headed back past the stack

The Fleet at Omega Protein is all painted up and ready! Reedville is one of the top 3 fishing ports in the U.S. All your fish oil comes from here. And the towns economy is tied to fishing. We use the tagline, “Virginia’ Working Fishing Village”

The slow ride home for dinner

I call this ” Sunset on Winter”
Again 2 cold chicks in the back alone. 2 men in the front. Guys you’re letting the magic slip out of that relationship. Think I’m going to have to come down and keep them warm. That snake looks like it’s guarding some forbidden fruit, maybe you should name it Lucifer.
HAHAHA!
The snake should be named D-TOM for “Don’t Tread On Me.”
AWESOME to see WECATHCUM in the water!
I am just waiting for my dock guy to launch the float and Gottago will be floating in the river. Now I have to get working on American Beauty.
Looks like Squigly enjoyed the ride.
Too bad about your steering wheel.
HA, it’s PreRestoric!
That worn in steering wheel is my favorite part on that boat. Perfectly patinaed!
I love the worn steering wheel. It my favorite part on your boat. Perfectly old boat worn in patina. Don’t mess with it.
I launched the Coronado last night and put on 3 hours on the clock, just puttzin around Spring Lake. AHHHH, I feel so much better now that I got rid of that “cabin Fever” I have had the last month or so.
For Michigan, I have to say this 70 degree weather on April 15th is VERY RARE. So I will be back on the boat today and Sunday.
Right on Gene!
Going boating today too!
Comments: nice ladies, perfect steering wheel, great locale, super boat, good guys, dynamite weather….gets no better than that!

Ralph the snake.
“wecaughtem”
I respect patina, but Matt, you and I seem to share the same steering wheel, and I did dome work on mine with the following result.
