Go Jim GO!!!

Today marks 10 days til we start lake Dora-ing. Yes that’s now an official word in the Woody Boater dictionary. Lake Doraing is the time you spend there before and after the show.  Before and after there is all kinds of fun. The St Johns River cruise is fun, just boating around Lake Dora and through the canals is amazing, Eating in lake Dora is great. having suds at our secret place is the best!

Dora Canal

Going through the Dora canal!

And of course there is the party on Thursday night, which untechencaly makes this the official unofficial start of the 10 Day countdown. Ten days from now we will be in Lake Dora..i..n..ging! We are bringing the entire inventory of tshirts and stuff down to clear it out, along with the new design and cups. We do take credit cards, save on shipping. Our official tent is right next to Carla at Hagerty marine Insurance. So today is the day..the day that dreams of a warm summer start! Wooohooo 10 days

If you think its a bunch of guys sitting at the dock talking about bungs you might be surprised. Unless of course you want to sit around the dock and talk bungs..Cause there is this drill bit that….

Our departure is still on schedule for 4am Saturday morning so Iam claiming 5 days in our countdown, arriving in Tavares mid day Sunday. The boat is ready other than checking tire pressures on the trailer…. Don’t forget to do that! We are really looking forward to warm weather, sun and water even though winter has loosened it’s grip on West Michigan. Can’t wait to see old friends and meet new old friends. This 3 footed giant was a regular last time we were there.

Things are shaping up for a great event—-Weather is looking good—Looks like we will have 15 Cobras for the show. Safe travels to all of you and see you Thursday night. Plan to attend the ACBS Symposium on Saturday morning. We have a great program you won’t want to miss. Terry Fiest

Can’t wait, looking forward to meeting some of you guys, and gals, don’t think my boat will be ready, close, but not quite. Hoping we can bum a boat ride with someone (will buy gas for a ride :D).
