Lots Of Finger Crossing Going On At Howe Marine

The Indian River and entire inland area in Michigan is getting a deep soaking for sure. The Dam is back working and doing its thing, but mother nature still has something to say. As does the the Detroit News.

If you are trying to visualize the area.

Getting worse and not better. Not anytime soon anyway.
Now we’re getting close to floating boats off their cradles in the Showroom and Craneway too.
To say nothing of all the ‘toons on blocks around the yard. Yikes!!!!
Between the ice storm last Spring, fourteen tornados so far this year (15 max ALL year in the past) and now this, I have NO idea what we did to piss off Mother Nature, but man, she’s gettin’ even!!!!

Boots or boats! It’s definitely one of the great places for summer boating in Michigan. Let’s hope we have a rain free weekend!

yep – Those of us that live in Northern Michigan know that mother nature can really show us who’s the boss. In Charlevoix we went from mountains of snow and a completely frozen lake to open water and grass in about a week. Hopefully the water will recede shortly and to Bob and Howe Marine this will be just another bad memory and good story.

Just remember our mantra “No salt, no sharks, no hurricanes – just fresh water!”

“No salt, no sharks, no hurricanes – just fresh water!” , but 14 Tornados in three 1/2 months. WTF and that doesn’t mean Where are The Fish!!!

Lol true that – it has been a crazy year! Historically, however, we only average 13-16 tornadoes per year which doesn’t even put us in the top 10 of states with the most. I think we are about 20th. 78 and sunny last Friday, a few snowflakes now, and up to about 80 at the end of the week – Mother Nature!

Bob, there is nothing I can do to help you. But I am behind you in thoughts and prayers. It will get better.
