About the header……At the point that you have water above and under the boat isn’t that more like submarineing? Also didn’t their parents ever tell them NOT to put plastic bags over their heads?!

Good to see there are people who aren’t afraid to get their boat wet.

It stinks when I have to get a calculator out to coment.

It was wet, wet, wet and a rough ride back. But it still beats being at work. Hopefully today will be dryer, but the weather man does’t seem to think so.

Even though the skies were threatening and rain a near certainty, almost every single one of the 42 boats registered for the pre-event at Priest Lake went out – now that was great spirit. Those of us in lapstrakes (even plastic ones) faired just fine – as did our friend Carrell from Regina, Sasksatchewan in his ’48 25′ Sportsman Sedan – full of people very happy to be on a sedan!

Lots of folks like that big ol’ Lyman including these 2. Thought someone pulled the trigger down in Tavares but maybe not. I’d take any boat for a ride on Priest right now but work beckons. Damn almighty dollar (and credit card bills).
