On The Road To Lake Dora Again! What Could Go Wrong?

Screen Shot 2015-03-22 at 8.57.58 PMThe Woody Boatermobile is all loaded up, PP&J sandwiches, and a new tube of hemorrhoid cream. Woohooo! The loose plan is to meet up with Tommy from Katzs Marina who will be leaving New Jersey at midnight and passing through VA as we leave. Always good to travel with a team. If yo are on the road today, we are all looking out for each other. And of course will be playing Willie nelson til our ears bleed. With that said, we thought we would give you folks an idea of how boring the trip may go.

Or this little one from one of my favorite movies.

Or this trip!

And of course the anthum of the ride!

While you’re all on the St. John’s River Cruises and Lake Dora please remember to practice all safety procedures and have fun!! But be safe!! Here’s a nautical safety reminder from one of my favorite singers, Thurl Ravenscroft.

What is a PP&J sandwhich? Should I assume one of those P’s is for peppers and mybe the J for Jalepenos given the need for a full tube of hemorrhoid cream? Also, how did you know how to spell hemorrhoid correctly?

New manual for Lincoln MKZ says with sway bar you can tow 3,500 lbs..I stopped at the Ford/Lincoln dealer yesterday and he told me I could tow 5,000 with last years MKZ….So I’d think an Audi could handle a few pounds

It was 1350 for me in 2009 when we towed the Riva down. Pretty long but not nearly as long when we went the 1900 to Tahoe. Not sure I will ever do that again. Lost a wheel bearing in middle of NV…Ugh

Hamster and I get in late tonight!!!

Leaving first thing tomorrow morning. Friday’s weather promises to be fairly moist (90% chance of rain) so no real rush but Saturday looks great! All I need are oysters, good beer and some sunshine. Looking forward to meeting all the people I “know” on the internet.
