A Quick End To Summer

We took Suzy out with our new Fairbault blanket..

Well, it was 72 outside, perfect crisp air, a raibow of color on the leaves.. And a 30 mph wind! What the hell.. I had set aside time for a nice last gasp ride on Suzy to end a summer of little boating. I put maybe 5 hrs on the boat all season! And Sunday was the perfect end to a dead summer. The last gasp trip lasted all of about 10 minutes.. Then to the ramp, and outta there.. All followed up with an hr or so of clean up.. Now headed to be winterized and set in the barn.

While all this was going on we got the text from the boatress. She finished the walk.. And was ready for more.. But of course she had a 7 hour drive ahead of her! Dang!
