Road Trip Update, Plans Change!
Well, as we wrap the amazing Marin County portion of the Big 2016 Roadtrip, we have changed plans and are heading to LA tomorrow. Then heading east. Looks like Phoenix may be a stop, and then Austin. Shhh dont tell Frechette, we may knock on his door and ask for a beer. We have never been to Austin and know its a cool place. . Its all up in the air now. But that’s part of the fun of a road trip. The good news is that the trailer hitch is still empty.
Austin? Franklins BBQ and Titos. OK save the Tito for me.
“The good news is the trailer is still empty”? Did Suzy write this report?
Jim is a GREAT host! I bet if you offer to buy lunch he and Cindy will get you there by boat. Roomer has it that LBJ is a little low on water right now though.
Lake Travis is full, and I am pretty sure Greg Nieberding has this beautiful Roamer on the lake. (If you don’t know Greg he is with digital3printing, which prints The Brass Bell.
Well poo! I spent Christmas in Austin, but am heading to Dallas this morning.
Have fun in Austin!
Brings to mind one of my favorite songs.
Franklin’s brisket is the holy grail for many a backyard smoke fiend.
We are only two hours So of LA, we have beer, bacon, 4 boat projects underway, a guest room and it is on the way to Texas. Stop by, you are welcome anytime.
Well yeah you better stop by! Not sure any barbecue is worth waiting in line for 3 hours but we can dig up something!
Don’t forget Al Schinnnerer and Ed Alexander while you are on the coast. I can attest to their entertainment abilities.
Salt Lick BBQ. I’ll be eating on this brisket till 2017☆☆
Jim knows the place.
