The Century Boat Clubs website is a must go to if you are into classic boating. Note I did not just say if you are into Century Boats.. 
It’s a must for all classic boat lovers. First, for many first timers in the hobby, there are other boats other than Chris Crafts.. I know, I know..it’s true.. really… Don’t even ask about Dingle Boat Co……or Shilo’s….. Century boats were actually some of more popular boats out there. 
And certainly pushed the design envelope more. Some very cool and extreme boats came out of the drawing rooms of the Century Boat Company and instead of me going on and on, the Clubs web site does a much better job. And if that isn’t enough to give you a woody that in rare cases may last up to 4 hrs…or a century… Rimshot goes here…. Anyway.. sorry.. If that’s not enough. This years Lake Dora Mega Shows Feature Marque is .. why yes. Century Boats.
No Outboards? They did make the Viking Lapstrake, how many? More great boats from the Great Lakes.
Well this must surely be my time in the sun. Thanks Matt for these posts on Century. I love these boats, They did in fact make outboards, lots of them,Imperial, Sportsman, Roan and the Pinto stained cherry Red. By far the coolest was the Palamino with Black stain and black and white cow hide vinyl upholstery. Cooooool. Check youtube under Century Palamino and you'll see one runnning. The coolest Century of them all though….The 56 Grey and white stained Arabian, Ohhhhh mummy. Arhh that feels better. Phil
Great site upgrade. I have a 1958 Century Resorter specially ordered with an Arabian bow not the “carrier bow” and now have it fully restored and the engine returned to pristine state (only 416 original hours). But like many I do relish the woodie Arabians in grey or blue.
