Woody Boater Destination of the Week

Well folks, for the first time I’m not prepared for this but I have an excuse. Our German daughter flew in for a short visit and we’ve been rather busy catching up on news.

We promised her a ride in our old woody boat but can’t keep the promise as the Mississippi River is several feet over flood stage. The yacht club where I keep the boat is about 5 feet under water this morning. We must use a boat to get to the boat that’s kept in the floating docks. That sort of takes the fun out of it.
