Come on in! I just polished up the place
Thanks to fellow Woody Boater David Irvine for sending us in some photos from last weekends gathering of Trailers? Mobile Homes, Campers? Is this called a show? gathering? neighborhood? A Trailer Park? The good news for me.. not you, or any Trailer geeks is no captions, so I get to make up my own story. And oh boy, this may go off the rails. Or not. Kinda like visiting the neighbors for the first time? So here, goes. The images are small, sorry about the resolution.
That guy! Thats the guy.. I can’t recall his name, but I know this much, Thats THE guy thats Outstanding in his field. Ya thats him. Egh.. Right there At The Trailer park..and show?
Those are really two small Trailers. They belong to Elma and Jiffy John. You have met them before. They are everywhere. DO NOT PISS THEM OFF!
Just stand there for gods sake. Dont move! Annnnnd CLICK, okay you can go now
Oh look, Maude and Bob just showed up in their Vista Cruiser and matching Golden Rod Camper. Original Twinkies in the fridge.
Another Chris Craft
Polished Not Polish BTW
More Polish trailers. Okay, Polish and polish are the same spelling? And ..Oh I am so confused now. Is the trailer Polished, as in Polish people live in it? Does everyone in Poland Polish things?
Okay, Polish or American, this is a cool set up, the tow car is insane perfect
OH! HELL YA! I mean what’s a Neighborhood gathering without Uncle Rico’s house
The Babes love it. Yes I am just Jealous.
Ya know what. It’s a Camper and has that Chris Craft feel. So cool.. Or hot depending on where you are
Oh! Does the Camper world seperate Painted ones from Polished ones? is there a divide. Is this the Sneetches camper, or are the Polished ones? For those of you wondering Who are the Sneetches. You should see a Dr.
Oh.. Hi there?
Oh! I like this one. Feels early and like it was the day it was delivered.
You know those neighborhoods where all the houses are the same? You can take them with you now
Is this the Agoraphobia’s family reunion? You know, the Agoraphobias from Italy. Its a small area in Italy, tucked away. No one really leaves, and when they do, they take there houses with them.
Because one front door is never enough. The back one is for the “help”
Very cozy.
I am digging the Front Porch thing. Oh that old thing. I just threw that on there.
Oh, the Thompsons have a Sisal rug, that’s so Crate and barrel. The Pick up though.. BUZZ KILL!
Matt, no comments on the wood folding chairs?
HA, I missed that. Enjoy! All yours
Missed it. Mine needs polished.
These trailer people should watch the 1953 Lucy & Desi movie The Long, Long Trailer for a real 1950’s camping adventure.
That was the first movie I ever saw, back in the day! Mom took me to Shopping Town, Dewitt, NY to see it.
This old Polish guy likes Uncle Rico’s house!
Do they have judging for trailers? Like our categories…? Like best orignial polish…or sheen….or ???
God I hope not. Just Go Trailering….fun

I was going to comment about the folding chairs… Some people got it right wiht he old web or wooden chairs , but its too tempting to use those current ones that wont break under the weight of our aging keisters .. ant the Uncle Rico van….classic! I want! Great diversion today!
Waiting for the concrete delivery and install chronicles and photos… Isnt that this week?
Gilmore Museum is one of the top car museums. Definitely worth a visit!!
They did have a vintage boat show there last weekend. Reportedly 50 boats we there. However, the event was covered by the same reporter that covered Keels and Wheels.
Thanks for sharing David, I love your Chris Craft trailer.
What a great way to start the week! Enjoy the sunshine…and all the shiny mobile abodes!
Land cruisers.Oh Yeah(like the Yello song)Any floating ones?
what is with all the DENTS that show in the first couple of pix and the header?
These hotels would fit right in at the Palm Gardens!

Always fun to see shiny trailers and groovy vans. Makes me want to hit the road.
Thanks for the tiny/no caption/virtual trailer show!
So when there are two front doors, there is a front front door and a back front door? And the front front door is for the residents and guests, while the back front door is for the help?
Great story! Nice Chris Craft camper David. Brings back memories of Aunt Marge.
