ACBS Boat Symposium Resorts To Hiring Strippers!

The ACBS and The Antique Boat Center has pulled out all the stops to make it this weeks upcoming symposium the best yet. If I read the description right, this symposium will cover plank repair, and stripping. Get it… Strippers.. stripping…..Hey, its all I had.. You try and do this stuff every day.. I spoke with Dennis at the Antique Boat Center and they are jazzed about the event. We here at Woody Boater will be there as well. Camera and dictionary in hand.. The party starts Saturday morning and end mid day Sunday. All kidding aside, if you want to learn how to repair or replace a plank… and who doesn’t.. This is the place to be.. And yes, you can learn how to strip.. your boat. Paint or varnish. Bring dollar bills. You can read more about it here. There is still room since the Antique Boat Center is large. Looks like this will be a fun weekend in Ohio.
I want to attend this so much that I can taste the varnish, but a family oblegation stands between me and Cincinnattee. Dick Werner has some fantastic Symposiums planned this year, this being just one of several regional ones. The one in Mt Dora last month was great.
