An Entire Roll Of Nautilox Vinyl On Ebay. SOLD!!!! Over $1,800

Here is the original story from the other day!!!! WOW! Check your barns for old rolls of stuff.

If you have been looking for this stuff, today is your lucky, or unlucky day. Cause it aint gonna be cheap, but hey, where else are you going to get this stuff. But if you are in the middle of a resto, or made a compromise a while back, here ya go. No to be completely transparent, I am no expert on this stuff, since it kinda dates newer than my obsession. But I have had people ask if I knew of any around. Like Windshields and other odd ball stuff that makes a huge difference.  HERE IS THE LINK TO THE EBAY SALE.

Thanks Matt. I love you guys, but really was not looking for more competition in the auction!

I would only like 7 yards at the 55” width. That leaves quite a bit extra if there are others interested. I currently hold the $355.00 bid, however the reserve has not been reached yet…and there is that shipping cost of almost $100.00. One more uncertainty, we really do not know what the rest of that roll looks like. It probably is fine, but we can not be certain until it is unrolled and personally inspected. It would be nice to split the roll up and help a number of folks out with their projects!

It will be interesting to see where this ends up. So far it’s at $355 for 35 yards, which seems cheap if you only need about 3 yards on average. Whoever ends up with it, I am interested in buying a little. My ’56 Continental hull card doesn’t specify the flooring, and I have the diamond stuff in there, which I hate.

If any of you are successful winning….Id be interested in enough to do a 17′ Sportsman utility. I will not get into the bidding war though.

    Thanks

Maybe one of you contacts the seller feller and finds out what the By it now price is, then we bundle it all for folks to get there smaller chunks? That way it makes sense per foot? Like we did with the Daisy Chain.

There was a pink colored version with the black seen in one of my boats but I don’t know if that was a factory color or not. But I did find this online.

Wouldn’t it be cheaper just to do your flooring like this? Looks like it would probably be cheaper.

That roll is still a bargain. That said, I have used some stuff from, god forbid, deck boats (pontoons) that is thicker, similar in appearance, more non skid and much easier to apply.,, right on amazon.
..Nautolex had its own specific glue back in the day…which I am sure there is a modern goop substitute for….
They made a cabin top material that was good to back then but that 55 width necessitated a trim strip down the center of many cabin tops because it came up short. just my bs contribution…somebody buy this stuff….John in Va..

I have 2 rolls that are mostly full that i am willing to part with. I think that 1 is the narrower stripe and 1 is like this 1.

The Michigan gang is having a swap meet in Marine City today. We will see if there are any treasures to be had!

At that price probably more will surface. Just wonder modern manufacturing processes if it couldn’t be copied in produced because you would think other marine applications would use it in sailboats or yachts. Although I prefer the teak colored black striped version, white would obviously be cooler in the blazing summer but it’s a bitch to keep clean, at least in the ski boat I have.

Greg, I wish I had seen the calendar about the swap meet! I need to get used to checking the calendar. Anything good there?
