I Had A Dream Last Night With Jim Staib?

Classic Boats, Community/Web, Restorations

Jaxon

Is it just me? I have been having some extremely vivid dreams over the past couple weeks. Like in color, and crazy.  Like if I could remember them as clear as I dreamed them, could make some insane SCI FI films. But last nights was more normal. Other than Jim Staib was in it? AND YES, HE WAS FULLY CLOTHED. PERVS!!!!!

Anyway, the dream was I was in Jim’s workshop trying to get Stinky’s engine rebuilt for this spring. Parts all over the place. The workshop was an abandoned old house and all the parts were in a old bathtub. There was a model of Stinky on a hanger. All in parts. With an apple green boot stripe for some reason?

This explains todays header.

Hey, its 4 AM and I just woke up and am trying to recall all this before it goes away like all most of dreams. Any-who, there I am pulling parts out of the tub, and now I am in Sweet Pea stripping the ceiling panels off to restore those, My Son Ham is helping, and is so fast that he guts the entire interior before I can say stop. Now I have that can of worms all exposed.

AHHHHH

Now back to Jim Staibs tub…… PERV’S! Anyway I find a part and bolt it on Stinky’s engine. Which for some reason needs Valve covers? IT’S A DREAM. But the engine is already running. So I think, Oh I wonder where the Valve covers are and then I wake up. I need to pee..

She is ready for action.

And then there I am thinking. HEY WAIT. Stinkys all ready, ready! I had her all prepped for Lake Dora, and Jim Staib is way up north. PHEW! So I think… mmmm maybe this is a sign I need a boat ride. And right now as the sun is coming up… IT’S F”N RAINING! I am gonna go back to bed and dream of someone more attractive.

Thanks Jim for last night. You can full fill all your parts dreams with Jim at FINEWOODBOATS.com

Or maybe it was some backwoods hooch. I know you don’t drink but maybe you should start.

I think anytime you wake up from a Jim Staib dream at 4 am it means you should have a wiener and a beer and then go back to sleep.

I ordered some parts from him, twice in the last 2 weeks. He also gave me some extra information about how I install the parts. Thanks Mr. Staib. …. (Autocorrect changed Staib to Stains. Good thing I proof read my Reply.)

That black w/green waterline looks really good. But don’t change it ’cause it looks just fine red white and blue.

The place you are describing in your dream, where the parts are in the bath tub is a actual place owned by John Freeman. The old house/shop/warehouse is located in a rural area between Alexandra Bay and Clayton N.Y. anybody been there? It is quite an experence.

John Freeman is a name I’ve not heard in quite a while. A bunch of us spent a Mt. Dora/Tavares Show weekend at his place there several years ago. Great guy – lots of stories – hope all is well with him. As for Matt’s dream, I don’t know what to say – must be something he ate… 🙂
