Syd’s Surprisingly Spark Plug Stumped
When Syd Marsdin from Syds Text Message Museum reaches out to ask what something is, I get excited, cause that just means that no matter how experience we all may be, the classic boat universe is infinite. Which one of the most fun parts our our little galaxy in that universe. It’s so diverse no one could ever know it all. But here we are, And Syd’s stumped.
OH, and just try and google it? The Vulcan name is used for Kawasaki engines? Never mind what the real question is. “I have located these spark plugs and can not find a listing for them” What are they a cross reference too? 18=J. mmmmmmm? Which invites the question. What do those numbers mean? Well, that is on the internet. And here is a video from England…sounds smarter….
I got nothing. It is a nice looking package that the spark plug comes in. Is Syd planning on using the plug?
Actual marine plugs. Shipped in tube all the way from England. Some details on tube.
A lot for my brain to absorb early in the morning!
Dan’s liking your package Syd!
To clarify, I like the graphics and condition of the spark plug package/box. It is truly a fine display piece!
ohhhhhhhhhh!
If you google “vulcan ignition company” there’s a little info but not much.
It seems to be an obscure after market brand using the popular Champion identifier reversed
Maybe reach out the Spark Plug Collectors of America? (SPCOA)
These dudes look like they’re serious about spark plugs.
Cool stuff.
Found a few oldies in today’s load
I was trying to figure out if they would work in any of my old outboards
