The End Of The Earth Is May 21st, Ahh Crap, That’s This Weekend. .

Just think.. Sunday we all will be in a happy place. Where the varnish is always dust free.

Well. At least I will be on a cool Classic boat on Lake Gaston at the Lake Gaston show this weekend. …. And you.. Mowing the lawn? Fixing a fence? Get out there. Pull out that boat with the original bottom, who cares, it only needs to last a couple hours anyway. Let the sun just fry that varnish work. Buy high test on credit. Who cares if its 6 bucks a gallon, you won’t have to pay it when the planet goes up in a cloud. Just think. The last thing you will see is a banjo wheel melting in your hands and a loud pop. And poof, you are in heaven. or south of that. Either way you went out doing what you love. So this weekend. STARTING TODAY. Put your self first, it’s the last weekend on earth.. Woohoooo. Were all going Woody Boating like there is no tomorrow. Wait, there is a tomorrow. Go boating like there is no day after tomorrow!

Good idea! If the end of the world people are even half right that would be where I am going to end up!

My only regret… I never learned the history and benefits of using KAPOK in old wooden boats.

Matt, do you think we will have enough time to do an interactive story on KAPOK in the morning? Or is it too late?

6:00 PM RRG. I guess it is going to roll by timezone, but I am not sure if it will be in standard time or if such events recognize local daylight savings time shifts. We should have a pretty good handle on that from Asia and Europe before it gets to us.

No boat even close to being ready so mtn biking – 12 hrs of Tsali, Lake Fontana, NC, my own kind of hell. If I don’t make that turn on the south loop just before the shale cliffs, it will be a long way down, but at least it will be into a lake.

OH CRAP! I just realized this means I wont be able to get an official Woody Boater cap! Matt, any chance you will Fedex out any remaining cap and shirt inventory so we can have one last chance to own the coveted gear?

I’ll pay you on Monday…if there is one 🙂
