Bay Harbor From A Facebook Post. Just This One Time. WOW!

BOOM!

Fellow Woody Boater David Irvine from the Michigan gang shared some amazing images from the Bay harbor International, and HOLY CRAP! Kudos to the ACBS for blowing the universe away with all this mahogany magic. I mean, HOLY CRAP! I mean, where do these boats come from? I know, I know, it’s a metaphor. Like as in? Good lord! Perfection! In perfect water, weather. It’s all just so over the top. Let’s see if I left now? 15 hrs, that would put me there around 8 or 9PM, okaaaayyyyyy? Of course I have to pee every 2 hrs, and eat. Nap around 4pm. Talk with “her” divorce lawyer. Then mine? Send a check, and then by 11 pm, I would be there. OR? I can just sit here and lust at all this over the internet. Congrats to the ACBS folks! Now lets get those made up captions going.

Ya think he gets pulled over? ALOT? They are going to need a 12 Step program to sell this.

Oh ya! That cost some Wampum to do!

The lettering in beyond perfection

Little know fact. The lake there is dry. They bring these boats in so your drool can fill it back up. YUP, you read it here on the internet

ROAD TRIP!

Hands down top up the coolest Larson on the Planet Earth. That choice of a blur top is beyond perfection

Van Dam brings a Lighting strike to the party

John Allen keeps the magic going for the entire classic boat community.

Okay back to reality

Great show, great weather and nice to see a lot of old friends. The Michigan gang helped out with the boat rides yesterday. Looking forward to another fun day today!

Matt, Great group of boats. I think otterhead deserves a separate story. Quite unusual. The acbs directory says 1954 31’ Hutchins/hacker.

Spectacular boats. Great weather, boat rides into a relatively calm lake Michigan, and seeing many familiar faces made it a memorable day

I thought I saw your name on the list of riders! But you were gone before I noticed your name. I was working the PA system encouraging viewers to ride and visit the Ship Store. I even took care of a lovely, long haired dachshund so her “parents” could go for a ride.
The small fleet gave over 300 rides in just 8 hours! Every single person had a smile on their face as they left the dock.
Great thanks to the Michigan Chapter and Chris and Julie Bullen from the Toronto Chapter for joining Water Wonderland members in the endeavor!

Thanks to all the Michigan Chapter members who stepped up and volunteered at the ACBS International Show hosted by the Water Wonderland Chapter in the harbor at Bay Harbor last weekend. We had boats from coast to coast, North to South and great friends from Canada.
Many ACBS members in Michigan belong to both Chapters. The partnership was evident at the Michigan Chapter Port Huron Show a few years ago, too. These shows are so big with so many events, it’s always amazing to see so many people step up for so many volunteer positions.
Great thanks to all who attended and all who volunteered!
