You can also get a taste of it all so next year you know the lay of the land and can bring the family. Also, don’t forget that this years ACBS International is out on the West Coast at Sierra Boat Co on Lake Tahoe this month as well. So if you did this right, You could do two International Shows in one year. BAM. Here is the write up from the Michigan Gang!
The weekend after Labor Day, September 9 & 10, will be the date for this year’s Blue Water Antique and Classic Boat Show at the River Street Marina in historic Port Huron, Michigan. This year will kick off the excitement, as the Michigan Chapter prepares to host the 2018 ACBS Annual Meeting and International Boat Show at the same venue.

There will be Dancing!
You can get a first look at the beautiful new marina gazebo that will be the center point of the show on the Black River. This location, with direct access from the Great Lakes, enables classic cruisers to participate in the show. As an added feature and incentive for a great cruiser turnout, The Chris Craft Commander Club has designated the show as a 2016 club rendezvous.

Mahogany and Blue water – Like Butter and Toast! … OK thats a strange analogy. And yes I had to google analogy. I spelled it analigy
The Friday activities will begin early with a 7:30am on water photo and video shoot that will be used to showcase the area for the 2018 show. All registered boaters are welcome and encouraged to participate in this fun event.

Lets GO!
The second phase of the Friday fun will start with a departure from the marina at 2:00pm. This one hour cruise will go down the St. Clair River and arrive at the historic ship building community of Marine City. There we will have a presentation at the Mariner Theater by Gary Kohs about the unbelievable story of his building of the Titanic model. Gary has moved his famous model boat collection to Marine City, and they will be available for us to see.
We will then head back up river to St. Clair for dinner at the Voyager restaurant with a fantastic view of the river.
After dinner, we will enjoy a sunset cruise back to Port Huron.
Saturday will be the boat show and will again feature free boat rides, toy boats for kids to paint, knot tying lessons and an after glow party.
We are also pleased to announce that two local radio stations will be on site to broadcast our show to the public. Your boat will be famous after the show!

I haven’t heard Leroy Jenkins since my kids were teenagers. Matt are you a gamer?
not a gamer, at all. but we use this as a fun way to talk about working as a team.
I understood the part about the boat show but the clip at the end didn’t mean anything to me.
I think Leroy Jenkins should apply for the Executive Director position at ACBS HQ?
(Does he know anything about website design?)
