I Am Living The Classic Boat Nightmare!

,

Here I am with 5 classic boats, all in very nice working order. BUT, I can’t get to them, they are tucked away for the winter and I am knee deep in a home renovation that has me moving into the house in mid June. A total gut job. So.. Weekends at the River house are impossible, except for the 3 hr drive so I can have the privilege of mowing the grass and explaining to the neighbors that I am still living there. This weekend was no different. Friday night. 3 hr drive, Sat mow the 1 acre of the fastest growing grass on the planet earth, and then back to DC. to tear into a wood floor. The good news is that I finally move in June 17th-June 19th…mmmm there’s something about that weekend… My son is graduating from high school..naaa……mmm Wait….. that’s the St Michaels show…Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I can fee your pain. I spent all winter making and installing custom kitchen cabinets in my house. That time is normally spent restoring my Chris Craft. The wife knows my skill level. I won’t complain too much, she has never had a car in a garage (workshop). She has scraped for 27 Buffalo, NY winters.

Hey Matt, Here’s a solution to your dilemma… Buy a mint condition 65′ Connie to live on, tow Sylvia behind to use as a grocery getter, live on the river, no driving and no grass to mow! Plus, more time to think about Lil’ Buzz…
