FLA DECAL 2We are that close. Just 2 more weekends. And the drive to Florida begins. Actually we are planning on leaving around the 18th so we can ease into the big show. We would love to see you there, and if you have never been. This is the perfect year. Gas is cheap, and hotels rooms I hope can still be found. We stay at the Best Western in Tavares.

The boating is perfect, as well as the quality of boats. The best Volunteers. All of it comes together in a symphony of Varnish and Fiberglass.

Thursday night there is a huge party and you are invited. So if you make it early, come on by. The real fun starts on Thursday anyway. Its when we all go boating and the boats arrive. Hopefully you have all your tickets set. If not you can click here to find out more on the Sunnyland ACBS website

    Here in the ANE we have had a warm spell after having over 3 feet of snow. Normally that sounds like a good thing, but when you live on a dirt road, well they don’t call it MUD SEASON without a reason. This week I was getting concerned if I was going to be able to pull Gottago through the mud to get to the tar road. Well the weather gods are smiling on us, because this weekend we are having an arctic vortex. (How is that a good thing when getting ready to head to Florida?) Come Sunday the road will be as solid as the granite ledge below it. I will move Gottago to my buddies driveway just off the tar road and we will be ready to strike out on the 12th.

    In just a week I’ll be pulling her out of the barn and prepping her for the 1200 mile trip to Tavares. It’s always a great time at this great event! See you there.

      That is one of the only boats I would consider swapping out my Formula for. (Then again the Formula is Sandi’s so I don’t have any say in the matter)
