Lake Wawasee Show Brings Down The Dock!
A very rare “head boat”, this is only seen at certain shows. Here is a special shot of one looking for some dock space.
Thanks to fellow Woody Boaters Chad Durren and Matt Byrne who went off to the Lake Wawasee show this weekend we can bask in Chads look at things. Now, Chads shots are interesting and a different look at shows. And of course no captions. So we get to make them up..

I am surprised that docks don’t fail more than they do. I have been at shows where folks have ended up in the drink.

Even with the dock issues this was a fun show on a great lake. The resort that the show was at had just reopened 2 weeks ago after a 6 month remodel. All things considered it could have been worse. Thanks to Jeff Funk, Martin Belcher and the Indiana chapter for being such great host.

We wanted this to be a memorable show, and we did just that! Ok, not exactely like we wanted. The brand new docks went in just two weeks prior to the show and incured a wardrobe malfunction. Stuff happens. Unfortunate as it was, I was relieved no one went in the drink or got hurt. Especially Chris Smith! All the boat owners were terrific and conveyed their understanding, not letting it interfere with their fun. It will be resolved for next year’s show. Thanks to all who came. See ya next year. -Jeff
