I’m sure others will reply that know much more about Miss Minneapolis IV than I do, but it was my favorite boat at this year’s BSLOL show at Lake Minnetonka. I believe it’s a 1948 and was originally used for boat rides on Minnetonka. The owner even had the original signs. The BSLOL show was held on the site of the Excelsior Amusement Park where (I believe) the boat would have originally been based. And, to add another twist to the story, I was told by one of the living nephews of Gar Wood that Winfield Wood also converted one of the Miss America boats to give rides from the same amusement park. But as I said, I’m sure there’s someone out there that knows a lot more than I do.

Yes, the 28 ft. Hackercraft is Sea Flow II.

Yes the 1948 Hackercfart 22 ft. utility Miss Minnepolis IV was a ride boat at the Excelsior Amusement Park on Lake Minnetonka. Purchased new for that purpose and used as a ride boat into the 1960s. They had two 22 ft. ride boats and two 24 footers. Not sure if they were all Hackers. Miss Mpls IV won something at the International ACBS show at Geneva Lake last autumn.

Stella won best launch at the same event.

And yes, the Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous is held at the same site as the old amusement park on Lake Minnetonka.
