Perfection!
Thanks again to fellow Woody Boater and Tahoe reporter Steve Natale for showing us behind the scenes at the big The 2016 Concours d’Elegance which is celebrating 80th anniversary of a boating icon: the Chris-Craft Racing Runabout. The event takes place at the historic Obexers Marina, which has been around since 1911.
Obexers!
Perfect Racing runabouts – Steve can even make a dock shot cool.
Classic Tahoe scene
Clear Mountain water
The young man in the cockpit is Stephen from Obexers polishing up “Liberty”
Still cleaning up, in the awards as well I am sure
Getting ready!
Lined up in perfection
How cool is that together! Both are perfect, together mind blowing
My boats longer than your boat
Perfect name and lettering.
They’re still showing up
And backing up
and loading up
OK! That is cool as hell! Imaging that driving down your street
The judges are ready to…well, judge! Only a mall full of teenage girls has more judges!
Backing in
where is the show?
Come on! Were on Woody Boater. Start!
Ok, underway, I love that color interior, perfect
Getting ready to dock.
Mean while back at the ramp
Oh yah!
Back on up! Stay tuned! The party has started! Thanks again to Steve Natale for sharing his eyeball, clicker finger and camera with us all.
Now I want to be in Tahoe!
Nice to see some Cruiser Love!
The gull-wing hardtop & cruiser are my favorites, so far.
Steve is the best Woodie Boater has come alive.!!!
