A huge thanks to Holly Weber for sending us in some eye candy. Her magic eye knows how to find humanity, even in dock shots. The cooler part of all this is we have never featured Naples Maine here on WoodyBoater, at least I can’t recall. Which may be the case. It gets foggy with close to 20 years of stories and show coverage. But images like this and this past week keep the spirit alive. Thanks again Holly, Steve and Mark for keeping the standards up.

Okay, I am gonna just guess here. The owner of Migs is a designer, or some sort of detail driven person. Like the yard at home is surgically manicured. WOW. Love it. A fellow brother in OCDum. How do I know? Other than the life jackets. But the color of the line matching the inside of the bilge. Thats big clue, and I am just gonna throw this out. Its driving him crazy that the brigter white on the fenders/bumpers is more white than the line.
I am not sure what the guy on the left in the blue shirt is doing, but I would NOT stand behind him for a while.

Grew up there more in the Sebago Lake area than Long Lake that are connected by the Crocker River and Songo Lock. My grandfather cut ice and timber on the lake in the winter and worked at Migis Lodge in the summer. Out of towners (from away as they say here) have displaced locals unfortunately and has changed the vibe somewhat. Cold clear water with many underwater scattered rocks left by glacial skowering.
