More Images From This Weekends Winter Warm Up At The Antique Boat Center Open House.
Here ya go, as promised, more images of the open house at The Antique Boat Center. Its an open house and worth the trip any weekend.. This one had food! And a cool speaker…. From fellow Woody Boater Al Benton. Thanks Al. Phil, your CenturyPalamino looks awesome on that new trailer. Hope it gets to New Zealand before Winter.
Thanks Al, great to see a picture of the Palamino. She gets loaded into a container on the 26th and the theory is 64 days later she arrives in Wellington NZ. Woohoo.
Phil
Matt, you’ll be glad to hear that Sylvia was “speechless” when she saw me in the show room, although she did seem to purr like a kitten when I gently stroked her vents (OK that explains why the dogs were growling).
Phil, you’re going to love this new trailer that your Palomino is resting on. The tall wench post is adjustable, instead of tugging the boat tight, the post moves to the boat via a huge (easy to adjust) turnbuckle arrangement. Very cool.
Ahhhh thats what that is. To be honest Al I was looking at the pictures Joel sent me of the boat on the trailer and I wondered what that big post was at the front. It looks rather high to me so Im hoping it will fit under the door of the garage. Cant wait to get it home.
Phil.
Phil, you could easily lower the strap wench and shorten the post. It’s tall but should fit in your garage. It appears that everything is adjustable, so you can change things fairly easily.
Sweet, thanks Al
The Palamino looks real nice.
A Huge Thank You to Lou, Dennis, Angie, Joel and the rest of the gang (including Rudder) at Antique Boat Center for a great day. We’ll be back!!!
