We got this story late yesterday from Fellow Woody Boaters “Captain Grumpy” Randy and his Grumpet.. Lee, and daughter, Grumpheiress- Ali Rush, it’s better than my made up stuff.. What a fun place for a show and perfect lake Take it away Randy and Lee..


Saturday-Lake Winnipesaukee
Thundershowers raged Friday evening, but blue skies opened up Saturday morning, July 30 as classic boaters in NH readied for the38th Annual Lake Winnipesaukee Antique & Classic Boat Show in Meredith, NH. Below Randy Rush and his daughter, Alison head to Meredith Bay for the show.
Crowds swelled all day long as viewers enjoyed the beautiful sunny day and the sight of over 70 vintage and classic boats on the docks in the picturesque town of Meredith, NH. The show was sponsored by the New England Chapter of the ACBS. www.necacbs.org and featured Hackercraft boats and a “Field of Dreams” for the first time where classic boats were offered for sale.

· Captain Grumpy, Randy Rush of Milford, NH had an unusually “ungrumpy” day as he enjoyed the show with his daughter, Alison. They displayed the latest Grumpy treasure,”Accolades”, a 1963 CarVer

Judges talk over the boats.. OK... here is the real story, that's Grumpy on the left in the suck up to Woody boater shirt.. And yes it worked.. Any way, he is begging the judges.. PLEASE give my boat an award and I can guarantee you a picture on Woody Boater...

    How did someone named Capt. Grumpy get that sweetheart in the 1st pic? Anyway thanks for the report, beautiful boats, makes sitting here at work at least tolerable.
