The pre-events which were held in conjuction with the 2012 ACBS International Meetings & Boat Show at Table Rock Lake in Missouri were outstanding, with special thanks to the nice folks at the Heartland Classic Chapter ACBS who are hosting the big event this year.
The Parkers and their many volunteers from over 5 states came together and held some great boating events over the last 3 days. Starting with a 82 mile round trip on Monday up the James River to Koppies for lunch.
The Big Cedar lodge is a site to see all on her own, from the water falls to stuffed animals everywere – she’s pretty grand for a woody lodge. They have been very accommodating for this large group of antique & classic boating enthusiasts from around the country.
Monday evening was a cruise on the showboat Branson Belle, she is a very large 3 storey ship that has a huge theater onboard.
Tuesday was to Coyotes Dockside Café and Wednesday we went down to Arkansas and back up to the chateau for launch.
This has been a great area for some fun classic boating. The mountains and rock formations have made a great back drop.
This is just a great event here at Table Rock and sure was worth the 20 hour drive to get here.
Chris Bullen
Thanks for the report Chris, looks like you are having fun.

GO WOODY GAL!
I was going to use the term “Our very own WoodyGal” but…
Wish I could have been there with y’all. I was so looking forward to the pre-event cruises, the show, and seeing all the great friends I have met over the year at events like this.
Have an extra one for me!
ARRRGH! and Pumpkin
Nice paint job on that Lyman. Got any more… Please….
I know I will never be satisfied.. but I will never give up no matter what the doctor says. There is no cure.
Man you can burn up a lot of gas on this huge lake, and at $5.08 per gallon, burn a hole in your wallet…
But we got all winter long to payoff the credit cards. Having a great time with all the fellow “Sons of Varnish”
Dennis:
Option #1 = Use all 400 HP in Old School.
Option #2 = Pull the throttle back.
(I think we know which option you prefer… please see WoodyBoater.com Facebook page)
I think I need a bigger engine. All day and only 10 gal. Of course it takes me all day to get anywhere also. Why did they even make a B engine!
Man you guys are having a blast!!! I am fully jealous!!
This is so much fun! Great lake, fun people & beautiful weather. Thanks to my local navigators, Kyle Jamar, Al Benton & Nick Weinsaft for keeping me & Daddy Had One out of trouble.
Wow, knew this one was going to be fun!
Love all the running ya’ll are doing!
GO GAL!!!
